Distributed network of GPUs to run CFD simulations.
Joined November 2025
1/ We are happy to introduce SIMD on Solana via @pumpdotfun 🎉 CFD simulations for cryogenic tanks take hours or days per run. SIMD aims to make them feel like shaders: distributed across many GPUs. 🧵 Here’s what the token is about:

About what we said in the previous Space: We’re not planning to wait 2 years to get paying customers. The actual plan: - 12-week sprint to ship + benchmark - validate with the actual partner in the cryogenic domain - then start onboarding companies in 2026 Long-term vision is

We just ordered a new GPU, fully funded by project fees 💚 Next step: get it on the table, run workloads locally, and push SIMD forward. Pics coming when it arrives. We’ll also host a Twitter Space on Wednesday to talk about what we are up to. Stay tuned. 🚀

Just submitted our application to the Solana Incubator 🚀 SIMD x @incubator , let’s see where this goes.

We’ve just updated our X bio with a new Linktree so you can find everything SIMD in one place 👇

We have launched a Desktop App 👇 It should intuitively allow non-technical GPU owners to manage their worker node. Test it out ->
New video: SIMD worker node in action ⚡️ In this demo, a GPU worker: - connects to the orchestrator - runs a system check - waits for a job - receives & executes it All wrapped around the SIMD CLI. 🎥👇

This is the flow every SIMD node will follow: handshake → verify → wait → run → report. We’re polishing the CLI + desktop app before opening this to more node operators. If you’d like to plug in your GPU when we expand (4090s, A100s, etc.), keep an eye on our Discord.

Under the hood: - the worker node registers itself with the orchestrator - runs a system check (GPU, drivers, network, etc) - reports its status - When a job arrives, the CLI pulls the payload, executes it, and sends back results/artifacts

Thinking about shooting our shot with the Solana Labs Incubator. 👀 Cohort 4 deadline is this Friday, Dec 19, feels like a good time for a SIMD x Solana chapter. Has anyone else applied to or been through the program before? Would love tips. @incubator @solanalabs

The SIMD GPU worker CLI is live 🔧 You can now register your node, run a system check, connect it to the network, and receive simulation jobs. 👉 Get started: https://t.co/ObaZfylSsH

Today, we attended the PyData Berlin 2025 December Meetup and secured a speaking slot to share what we've been quietly building in Berlin at @GetYourGuide's office.

Just got onboarded into the @nvidia Inception program for the EMEA region. Excited for what’s next - sharing a screenshot from the call 👇

3/3 Also, apologies for the 3-day silence, not great for the community. We’ve learned that people who believe in us want regular updates and visible progress. Even when progress isn’t obvious, we’ll share what’s going on. No more weekend silence.

2/3 We don’t know upfront how many jobs will be coming in. If we allocate workloads too early, some nodes benefit while others sit idle. We want to avoid complaints and wasted energy. And, we’re releasing the desktop app first for testing.

This week we’ll be sharing more updates, including the tech. GPU nodes will get a CLI + desktop app to manage the local node and check whether the machine can run workloads. ---- 1/3 We’re bootstrapping the distributed network for a simple reason 👇
