A very big and warm thank you goes out to Picadilly Cakery for their ongoing support and contributions to our After School Program. Each child received a birthday cake to share with family and friends during their birthday month! What a great way to make children feel special!

Last week, Simcoe Hall was welcomed to the annual Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries Golf Tournament which was also the 'rewiring' (retirement) celebration of President & CEO Ron Oberth. As a charity of choice, a portion of the funds raised were donated to Simcoe Hall!

We cannot thank Sobeys Oshawa and Second Harvest enough for supporting our Food Bank through their food rescue program. For those that don't know, this program distributes perfectly usable food that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill, to people who are in need.

Thank you to all who participated in the Poker Run & Food Drive by the Loyal Order of Moose, 2132 Oshawa, & the Oshawa West Lions Club. We were fortunate to be the recipients of a truckload of food and a monetary donation! Thank you so much for helping us help the community!

Register now for our 4th Annual Golf Tournament! The tournament will be held on September 14th, at Kedron Dells Golf Club. Tickets include an 18-hole round of golf, personal charcuterie box, pulled pork slider, sit down dinner, a silent auction, and more exciting activities!

As a charitable organization that relies heavily on donations we were thrilled when we were awarded capital funding through @ONTrillium. This funding allowed us to replace faulty doors and furnaces, repave our parking lot, install a new fence, and repair leaky roof and siding.
