We scientists have a responsibility to act against climate change. Part of that is advising and educating the public and part of it is keeping our own house in order. So, we applied and got the bronze LEAF - Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework - medal!

Last friday the Sigel group traveled to Bern. Why? To learn about RNA research in Switzerland at the Swiss RNA Workshop. Besim Fazliji, a Ph.D. candidate in our group, gave a talk about " Dissecting the exon binding mechanism in group II intron splicing" - and it was great!
