Don't miss the George A. Bartholomew Lecture tonight! This year’s awardee is Dr. Kate Wilsterman from Colorado State University. Kate's research uses integrative approaches to understand how natural variation in reproductive traits arise from genetic and physiological diversity.

Our next #ScientistSpotlight features DCPB's BSP nominee Sarah Heissenberger. Sarah (@ScientificSarah) is a PhD Candidate at the University of Arkansas, who will be sharing research on maternal effects of water restriction in an arid-adapted, precocial rodent, the common degu.

Our #ScientistSpotlight this week features DCPB's BSP nominee Emma Rhodes @rogue_bander. Emma is a PhD candidate at Auburn University, who will be presenting on seasonal mitochondrial adaptations aiding in bird migration in crowned sparrows and the Mimidae family.

This week for our #ScientistSpotlight series we are featuring DCPB's BSP nominee Emily Lau. @chipotlau is a postdoctoral scholar at University of Chicago, who will be presenting on the molecular convergent evolution of bioluminescence in octocoral cnidarians and brittle stars!

Kicking off this year's #ScientistSpotlight series is DCPB's BSP nominee Janki Bhalodi. Janki is a PhD candidate at University of North Carolina at Charlotte, who will be presenting on how the genomic HSF regulatory architecture shapes the transcriptomic response to stress 🌊🌅
