All models available with Brave's in-browser AI assistant Leo are now hosted on Brave's infra (including Claude!). This way, neither you nor Brave have to trust a third-party AI model provider to uphold their "no logging or training" policy.
AI assistants collect personal information, store your conversations on their servers and use your inputs to train their models. Leo doesn't. Here's how we built privacy into every part of the Brave browser's AI assistant. .

Proof for what folks have been saying all along: Brave (especially on Android) is the most performant browser in the market because we block so much junk on the Web and strip out unnecessary and user-harmful bloat from the browser engine.
New testing confirms that Brave for Android is outperforming the competition. 🏆. It's faster, uses less battery and CPU, and consumes less mobile data and Wi-Fi bandwidth than other major browsers. 🧵.

Brave is the first browser to block Recall from looking at any of your browser tabs. We were inspired by our friends at @signalapp!.
Your browsing isn't private if Windows 11 is taking screenshots of everything you do. Brave will block the controversial feature Microsoft Recall by default with our v1.81 update.

Brave's Rust-based 🦀 built-in adblock engine now uses ~50% less memory, after many months of in-depth engineering work by our privacy x performance teams🚀. Refreshing win because privacy features often have a perf tradeoff. Huge kudos to the team! 🎉.
Brave is getting a performance boost!. The team has overhauled our browser’s adblock engine to reduce memory usage and speed up browsing, especially on older devices. The change is now on @BraveNightly and should be in the release build on all platforms by August.

When people ask why Web privacy is important, you can tell them about the time Blue Shield shared their sensitive medical data with Google Ads. @brave users are safe against these privacy-harmful 3p trackers because of the tireless work of filter list maintainers everywhere.
