really true. even though i desperately need more ram. but my mac m1 air 8gb from about 5 years ago works good still.
"the MacBook neo has 8gb of ram, literally useless!!!" a lot of people (incl. me) are using an 8gb M1 MBP just fine. it's really not the same as windows 8gb

very much true as much as i can understand now. the juniors have to remove the thing from the brain that writing code was the main thing that great engs did !!
devs are becoming engineers, engineers are becoming leads, leads are becoming CTOs and founders. no one is getting replaced, they're just getting forced to level up.
