@ThomasKazakos Emirates Shipping Association Chairman Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi provided opening remarks and Secretary General Anders Østergaard presented a year in review for 2025. General Manager Huma Qureshi opened the event with a welcome address.

H.E. Abdullah Bin Touq, Minister of Economy and Tourism, UAE and ICS Secretary General @ThomasKazakos, provided keynote addresses during the event. The event took place on a terrace overlooking the striking Dubai Museum of the Future.

ICS Secretary General @ThomasKazakos participated in the Greater Bay Area Maritime Forum today, taking part in a shipping dialogue panel discussion with Kenneth Lam, JP, Founder and CEO, SeaKapital and Rolf Thore Roppestad, CEO, Gard, Chairman, International Group of P&I Clubs.

Commenting on the panel, Stuart said: “It’s clear that we will see a multi fuel and a multi sector future as we evolve the net zero economy”

ICS Director of Strategy and Communications, Stuart Neil, moderated a panel at the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC). The panel ‘Green Energy Forum: Fuels, Freight, and the Road to Net Zero’, brought together energy suppliers and logistics companies.
