Evo France looked like Evo USA in the 2010s before it was this ridiculous seized corporate production. It felt more for the fans and very grassrootsy as a spectator, and I think that vibe is better than what we currently have over here.

In terms of time investment needed, gunning to win AoF3 might be the easiest & most efficient fighting game bag there will EVER be so i'm surprised at the lack of (open) grinding i'm seeing. I think someone like Diaphone is gonna walk away with a fat check off of fundamentals lol
I've always daydreamed about what would happen if a random old game got a tour with a bunch of money, & SNK is kinda doing that lol. AoF3 is a unique game that's not hard to pick up & has a low execution ceiling, genuinely ANYONE reading this can win a life changing amount of $.

This is still insane to me. If I was a 20-something year old Fighting Game player with time, I’d grab 1-2 of my Discord buddies and start grinding SamSho. The game is not hard, fun to play, and has a very low player count (62 people at EVO). Qualifying is VERY possible.

This is gonna be very interesting. Do new players/returning ones will be able to catch to those who havent stopped grinding since launch ? I doubt it but I cant wait to see.
