Sometimes I feel like the DN fandom doesn't really GET Misa sometimes. Like ik she isnt given the same care writing wise as like Light or L, but her motives are like, really interesting. Would you lay down your life for the person who took "vengeance" on your parent's killer?

I think my favorite Death Note fanfics usually have Light taken off guard because of something L does. I think Light thinks he's the perfect genius, so when he's thrown off course I feel the most interested by him.
