Another miserable day of commuting with #NJTransit

We just want to get home! Train left 20 minutes late and now we are stuck with no announcements just sitting #NJTransit

@njttansit come on NJTransit you have to do better with updates at Penn Station nobody can hear the announcement or know what’s going on

Just called Asbury Park town clerk to get a copy of our marriage license and they can’t give us a certified copy at this time because they are waiting on PAPER order from the state that they paid for but haven’t received? And no shipping info? They’re out of paper… #government

So #morristownparkingauthority sold the commuter lot to someone else who is doing construction, called their office and they could not tell me who they sold it to and have no information on when construction will be done in the parking lot which is used by commuters. 🤔

One stop away and #njtransit just stops. We were almost on time for once!!! What delay do we have now?

So DL5250 is saying 8:19 departure time. We all know that’s not happening since it’s 8:13 pm and we haven’t even begun the boarding process. What time are we looking at now?

You need to do better with communication @Delta - and if you knew we were going to be so delayed why wouldn’t you tell us earlier? DL5250 is still showing 8:11 as the departure time and it’s currently 8:12, update your app.

Going on a half hour delay @njtransit can we please get communication!?? It’s the one thing you could do! We need to tell our family where to pick us up, what time we’ll be home for dinner, you constantly drop the ball you could at least communicate #njtransit

The one source of peace I have on #njtransit is the quiet car. If you aren’t going to replace the trains or do anything to make them reliable could we please have this one thing? Enforced quiet car? Just have someone come by and remind people or ask them to switch cars?

Air quality on @njtransit needs to be reviewed. When was the last time these filters were changed? There is a stale pungent odor on every train.

We are in a dire situation with public transportation in this country.
