I’m not a fast reader. I enjoy it but it’s a challenge. This is the 4th year I’ve challenged myself to a book a month again. It went a little off the rails in the fall (thanks to a rough semester in my masters) but I caught up in December. I never regret this. Here’s this year’s:

I’m sorry it’s just that I read this book fully thinking it was about real people on God’s green earth and I was invested in every way (I don’t know oldie bands well). I just found out that it is fiction and I am shattered. I can’t stop thinking about it. I can’t move on. 💔

This feels like something people should know: If your grocery store does points and then coupons for free turkeys/hams on holidays, you can take those coupons to customer service and they’ll donate the meat to the local food pantry. Hope this helps. ✌🏼
