There’s nothing new here for me to absorb. You’re presenting the most uncritical, basic argument in defense of free market capitalism there is. I understand what you’re saying and I disagree because I think things can and should operate more equitably and ethically for all people.
@shepardsounds I think you've absorbed very little. Leverage is everything. Its too convenient to hide behind an ideology and dismiss any real argument because of your tribal mentality. The fact is, 10 years from now all the new billionaires will be people who managed to find ways to put.

Billionaires aren’t adding value to anything. Laborers are adding value. Labor is exploited, the surplus value is stolen by people who become billionaires. This isn’t altruism, you ought not be thankful for your own exploitation. This is a very uncritical*gluck gluck* argument.
I agree that most people probably thinking these billionaires see their responses, but generally speaking you rarely become a billionaire without adding massive value to society so I defend them because of how much value they’ve provided to society. The big lie is that it’s.

The way you chose to engage was disrespectful. I don’t think you would talk to me like this in person for the reasons I mentioned. To say leftist don’t believe in or wield a normative/prescribed morality is “utterly foolish”. Guns don’t weigh much.
Huh? . I like you. I follow you. You tweeted, “prescribed morality” and it’s utter nonsense in my eyes. Especially when using it politically. I said so. You don’t defend it nor engage with it and instead say you can kick my ass? . Violence? How much a gun weigh???. OKAY.

It feels like you didn't understand my point and instead of engaging respectfully you've tried to insult me. I get that may be the point of the internet for you, but you look smaller weaker and less capable of violence than me. You wouldn't talk to me like this in real life.
Cool, never read it. Why are you re-reading it?. The, “prescribed morality” was the catch of my eye. What an utterly foolish thing to attribute to political compasses. I’d attribute prescribed morality to the Sunday schools across America.

Idk what to tell you kid, I do indeed read books 🤷🏾♂️ The good ones do make you think. Currently revisiting A Dying Colonialism by Frantz Fanon.
First sentence reads like it’s straight out of a podcast. The second, like there was some introspection after reading a couple of books. “Prescribed morality” l.m.f.a.o.

You got a Puerto Rican and American flag in your bio my brother. You are not in the middle lmao. I know what you are.
@shepardsounds As someone who’s more in the middle, I notice how both sides acuse each other of the same things. It’s interesting.

The problem with western individualism is it leads people to believe that every triumph and failure, every ease and hardship they experience is solely due to their own actions. This just isn’t true.
@shepardsounds ✅kinda makes since however, any suffering I journeyed through was a result of choices I made. I have the power to choose if I want to suffer or succeed.
