It's been 10 years since Monty passed. There were times I wasn't sure I'd make it this far, but I'm glad I'm here because I have witnessed so many of you achieve such amazing feats in his honor. To his friends and fans, he was already proud of you. You are all his legacy now. 🐦‍⬛

I don’t know if I’ve ever said this but I think Gen Z and Gen Alpha are pretty cool. I see a lot of the same passion and energy for similar things my own friends and I spent time on over the years. I personally don’t stereotype or judge based on age, it’s about connection.

I wish every artist would put their name or handle on their work. Sometimes I save a bunch of cool pieces that evoke something, but when I go to organize my reference boards later I have trouble remembering the authors. 😔 Please it can just be text but sign your work!!

The last thing I'll say for now is this: I never worked for RoosterTeeth nor was I an employee. I did, however, do work directly for Monty; work that is a part of RWBY. I wish I had an answer as to why I was ceremoniously unwelcomed in the production afterwards, but I don't know.

I really can't articulate how Monty thought about things. I know that I personally understand but trying to convey it to someone else without feeling like I'm putting words in his mouth is difficult to say the least. All facets of art were his language of expression.
