We are actively working to clear routes into SW St Elizabeth. Based on the work done so far the best route is now through Junction, Pedro Cross, Fullerswood to Black River. Some parts are still challenging to navigate and best for an SUV due to water. #MelissaRecovery

Dear friends I am okay as are all of my family. We lost communications last night in the middle of the hurricane my phone provider Digicel is down but Flow is up, I had to beg some hotspot from a friend who is on Flow to send this. I will post more once I am fully online.

And yes my Digicel Play home fiber is still up right in the middle of the hurricane. Nothing else is. 🤣

The cathedral roof in my living room is taking a beating, pieces of roof landing on the floor and some water coming in. Wind blowing in thru the CLOSED windows enough to raise the curtains and it blew the plywood off one window we had nailed it down to.

Montego Bay update: the storm shifted west, the eye of the storm is passing directly over us. We lost most of the trees in out yard and the cathedral ceiling roof in our living room suffered damage but the house is holding up otherwise.
