My iPhone broke for no reason and is being repaired so I'm using my old Pixel 6. Finding Android nicer to use if I'm honest. *glares at incompatible watch and headphones*.

I had a week off. Took a holiday. Then I got back and in two days added 3D features to a multiplayer web game, created an MCP server that lets me explore my listening history in novel ways, and a macOS desktop app that tracks my domain name expiry dates.

The sad thing is how much of our collective historical data is held captive by profiteers in their private databases, never to be seen again. That data is what really matters.

The value of our data inventory has only been exploited, never explored. The strange thing about this new AI paradigm is we can explore our history without worrying about whether it's profitable. We can build software to analyze and learn from that data without needing an ROI.
Made a MCP server that connects via OAuth as me and can answer questions about my listening history. Now when someone asks, "Have you heard X?" I can check. Claude Desktop doesn't do OAuth yet though, so have to do it in Cursor.

Cursor tries to prevent the model from accessing .env files, but Claude just runs `cat .env` and adds the API_KEY to the wrangler.toml anyway. Usual agent things 😂.

Google search dominance is below 90% for the first time since 2015. No surprise. Claude Research gives me more sources in 5 minutes than I could scroll through in an hour, and none of them are ads. AI Research still in the pre-enshittification phase. Enjoy it while it lasts.
