@SKRAY1001 Lower carbs especially refined ones & get off sugars Ramp up proteins gradually Have Apple cider vinegar / lemon water daily for soemtime

@viNYramesh Around 2-3 is fine in most cases In some it can be around 6 or so with no adverse effects seen Mostly maybe hydration issue Mine remains around 2-3 but sometime seen 6 also but no symptoms

@shashiiyengar I think the quality of proteins also matters. Vegetarian sources of proteins such as dals may not be the best choice to increase.

@shashiiyengar Diabetes, high BP, Arteriosclerosis, Arthritis, high Uric Acid, obesity, Dementia, Alzheimer's etc are all manifestation of same problem - hyperinsulinemia or inflammation caused by chronic excess carb consumption.

It's mind boggling that all sorts of diseases like Diabetes, High BP, Heart attacks, Arthritis etc that appear so different prima facie...are a result of just one problem!

@shashiiyengar Actually as far as I understand, the most underrated reason for uric acid increase is not due to protein waste, but sugar and oxalates from citric fruits.

@shashiiyengar In a normal person around 3% of glucose made by body is converted to fructose (polyol pathway) for use in different processes and functions in the body. A body maintains around 4g glucose in blood & 3% = 0.12g. In diabetics consuming carbs this 3% becomes 30%
