Low carb is sustainable. I been on it for almost 8 years now.
Its a mindset thing when we are convinced that health is more important than the taste for carbohydrates.
Carbs are kryptonite for those with diabetes.
I dont want to get complications & be dependent on others.…

Low carb if done right is tastier, nutritious and satiating way to consume real food.
As a treat, some good carbs for taste can be added for satisfaction.

I am also on low carb for last 8 yrs...
I started my journey with Hba1c 13.4 ....
Just for initial few months took metformin.
However never ever achieved below 5.5..
But diet was normal when on tour...Enjoyed sweets also on tour...
Low carb is 200% sustainable...

chicken being a diabetic they all even doctors too get shocked and tell me not to have it,as it increases sugar level and they say you should also not eat mutton.
Can you please clarify what to do.
Am i doing anything wrong.

I was diagnosed with T2d in sept 2015
In remission since then, no metformin also
