This is fear mongering. 1. It costs X nothing to host an image. Azure is .018$ for hot storage and .002$ for cold per GB. With compression you probably cost them a few pennies for all your tweets. 2. The images put into the AI are not being used them to retrain it on the fly.
Based on X's new Terms of Service and art editing AI update, you should probably keep your artwork off of the platform. I've seen a number of people suggesting using poison like nightshade, or posting your art as a gif. While it sounds nice, they don't help much if at all.
