I have taken to screwing with scam texts. It is my only joy during a dark period.

When you have a baby, hot steaming showers are like visiting a five star spa. But it turns out, that's not all they are. I just came up with a pitch for a new story! Now to quickly write it down before mum brain kicks in and I forget all about it 🤣 #bookthree?

It will probably stay empty for like another month but I've bought a new notebook and therefore made an attempt to fire up the creative brain so I'm calling it a win.

I'm #NotatHarrogate for the second year running. Last year I had first trim sickness. This year I have an almost six month year old who needs me at night. One day I will be back. One day I will see my books in the bookshop. Have a drink (or 5) for me!

For publication day my darling B gifted me two failed crib naps and one contact crap nap (23 minutes). But I did get a baby free coffee and going out for a baby free lunch later (thanks husband). Also she's super cute so already forgiven ♥️
