Not true. I'm from URI and it takes me 5-6 hours to reach KU. My friend is from karnah and it takes him same amount of time for the same destination. And for my friend from south kashmir it takes him 3 hours. Not mentioning other friends from far flung areas.

My opinion is @parawahid should get the data about funds distribution also since last 20/30 years. College allotted, road sanctioned. Development projects and universities/colleges given. And also the corruption by k politicians about the same.

We never identified ourselves with Kashmiris but assertion of our own tribal identity is a problem to so many. Accept our existence & stop reinforcing unnecessary stereotypes. Those who take pride in their ancestral migration from Arab to Kashmir are nowadays calling out Gujjars.

Same apples being sold outside Jammu and Kashmir at 200 per kg. There’s something wrong with the contractors I guess.
Kashmiri apples seem to be the only unfortunate fruit whose prices drop every year at harvest time. Meanwhile, oranges, bananas, guavas, even eggs keep skyrocketing. Why is it only Kashmiri produce that suffers? Is the fruit defective, or are we entering the wrong markets?
