Was Megumi Fushiguro averse to being a ‘prodigy’ and why? Small 🧵 on how his childhood trauma and backstory impacted the decisions he made, his overall mindset and development of his power.
@shadowsphantasm // I just wish they dug a bit deeper into his aversion to strength and being a “prodigy” in Jujutsu. // maybe Megumi loves his family and peace too much to lose his mind over it. // he knows what happens to “prodigies” in his line of work.

I think this would be funny if it was partially true but it isn't at all Mahoraga literally tries to kill Yuka when he's summoned

And before anyone tries to cook me for the comparison, I’m referring to self-worth and dreams. You can’t clown someone for a dream they never had. Also here’s a thread

The “potential man” meme only really works if the character 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 to be the strongest. Megumi isn’t like kid Naruto chasing the Hokage dream - he’s a kid with self-worth issues just trying to survive an obligation that was forced on him.
