Funny how you can do the same thing with a local model without sending all your data to a remote cloud.
In Cowork, you give Claude access to a folder on your computer. Claude can then read, edit, or create files in that folder. Try it to create a spreadsheet from a pile of screenshots, or produce a first draft from scattered notes.

This is the magic I've been waiting for, what AI can do: "There is the video of a squirrel somewhere in the folder, convert it to mp4" Anthropic did it. CUA will finally become useful - this is a historic moment.
Claude Cowork is also super useful for editing files You can just describe what file you're looking for (e.g. "a video with a squirrel") and run ffmpeg based on simple instructions, even if you don't have any experience with editing/converting files
