I haven’t been able to track down an official source for this news. At times, I wonder if the Administration deliberately floats a ‘soft opening’ stance on certain issues to test whether they fall into that 80–20 divide.

There is so much untapped tech talent within the American workforce, there is no reason to outsource. Additionally, from a national security perspective, it reduces the potential attack surface across our critical infrastructure.

I think this is very well said.
@brad_polumbo Brad, the challenge is most people don't understand the extent of this problem, and almost as an afterthought, add platitudes about reforming the H1b program with a few tweaks. As if to suggest, the benefits far outweigh the gains and whatever collateral damage that occurs is in

When I was a BN CDR, our GRP CSM shared something that has stayed with me. He was waiting at school for his child when another parent needed to step away. Before she left, she told her child to go stand next to a Soldier in uniform. She didn’t know him, had never spoken to him.
🚨 NOW: National Guard troops are openly interacting with teens in DC’s Navy Yard, even letting them sit in Humvees. One of these teens said “last time I was here, there was a shootlng!”. I’m REALLY hoping the newfound law and order in DC will inspire kids to take a better path
