Been retired for a month. So what has changed? Well I get up between 8 and 9, which is more aligned with my natural rhythm. And my baseline stress level is so much lower. But I still “dream” about work. I guess 37 years in healthcare left some residue.

The current state - I was advised to have a lumpectomy which is already done. Lymph nodes were biopsies as well. The tissue had clean margins, and lymph nodes are clear. Get those mammos ladies!

So … 19 months after starting a dedicated weight loss and health journey, I got a life experience that was not on my list! After 6 years of skipped mammograms, I finally went. Cut to the chase - I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
