数年前SED fitを自分の手で初めてやるようになって、当時門外漢だったPopIIIモデルでも遊んでカラー図をプロポーザル用に作ってみたり、実データでトライ&エラーをしていたネタが、こうして今では論文になってJWSTのDDTの時間もいただけるようになり感無量。余白やserendipityを楽しむ研究の醍醐味.

The implications are huge - our candidate aligns well with PopIII galaxy evolution pathways on the Luminosity-Metallicity relation. We also provide the first observational constraints on PopIII UVLF and SFRD, which will serve as a beacon for theoritical studies!

Detecting the first stars (PopIII) is a long-held dream for astronomers. We developed a novel technique, applied it to JWST legacy data, and discovered a promising PopIII galaxy candidate at z=6.5 in GLIMPSE!
