one of my favorite parts of shoto’s character is how he shows emotion; it seems so hidden and subtle but when you look at his eyes it’s clear just how much he feels and how expressive he really is. the anime just very rarely captures this about him to the level the manga does😞
I really think we need to have a conversation about how Horikoshi draws Shoto's emotions because I just don't feel like the anime really captures the level of emotions he's going through at time compared to Horikoshi's art

hmmm some of mine are demi + ace for shoto and bakugo, pan for izuku and mina, bi for kaminari, jiro, and ochako, gay for kirishima, and lesbian for momo!.

RT @krbkcanon15: Krbk is a bond, they are very intertwined with each other, removing their relationship from the story fractures their deve….

in the same vein, it’s disingenuous to say that bkg’s character would be unaffected without kirishima. kiri was bakugo’s first real friend in ten years; he taught bakugo that working alongside someone isn’t a weakness or burden, but rather a strength, and that everyone has value.
and for bakugo, yes his development was not solely due to midoriya, but it was midoriya who most challenged his views that people “weaker” than him weren’t worth his time; that winning means more than just beating the villain or being number one

for ochako, it’s true that she’s always been about compassion, but it was her observations of Deku’s saving others with no regard for himself that expanded her view of her heroism to include helping those that society says doesn’t need help, the heroes AND the villains

for shoto while most of his later development is pretty separate from midoriya, none of it would’ve been possible without midoriya pushing him to confront his past and start accepting his two sides, which allowed him to start healing to become his own hero like he’d always wanted

looking at bakugo, ochako, and shoto for example, all three would be fundamentally different were it not for their interactions with midoriya.

i think some people don’t realize that even irl we’re comprised of the experiences we’ve had with the people in our lives. considering that midoriya is the mc, he greatly affected every character in mha, even the other leads (🧵 bc i luv yapping about character interconnections)
