CW: My husband was out riding in Newport Beach (Newport Coast Dr & San Joaquin Hills) yesterday morning & came across a bad crash involving a driver & bicyclist. Haven’t found any info on it. Hoping the bicyclist makes it. @bikinginla

Imagine self driving cars circling around for 8 hours to avoid parking fees while you’re at work. What a traffic nightmare! If your car went home then came back & picked you up, emissions would double. This is not the transit solution we need.

Self-driving cars may be great for those who don't want to own a car or get behind the wheel, but they promise to be a nightmare for parking enforcement.

This is something that always amazes me. In LA, the payoff for driving aggressively is typically not a damn thing. There are so many cars and so many lights that you don't even gain 10 seconds most of the time that you drive like an asshole.
