Heterosexuality must be so fragile if kids are ‘indoctrinated’ into ‘gay lifestyles’ by just seeing gay people kiss in public. I’m very glad homosexuality is far more resilient. As a kid, I endured years of seeing straight people kiss (on TV, in public, etc) and still stayed gay!

You can be a gay man and: — Not use Grindr. — Not like Madonna. — Not go to the gym. — Not party in gay clubs. — Not be sexually active. In fact, you never have to prove your sexuality to anyone. It isn’t for others to dictate or define. You’re always gay enough. Cheers.

Heterosexuality must be so fragile if politicians need to pass laws to shield straight kids from the mere mention of gayness lest they be “turned” queer. I’m glad homosexuality is more secure. Despite being bombarded with heterosexual lifestyles, we avoid corruption and stay gay.

I went to a school where teachers would routinely “come out” about their sexuality. They talked about their heterosexual relationships and having kids. Some even went as far as making us read books with straight characters. Despite this all, I wasn’t groomed into heterosexuality.

Dear Journalist, You cannot be “impartial” or “neutral” when it comes to attacks on LGBT people and LGBT rights. Refusing to “take a side” when people endure violence only ensures that it will continue and destroy lives. So please stop treating our lives like a school debate.

“I said no such thing.” Lisa Kudrow once again captures the craven way a number of “conservative commentators” gaslight and fabricate.

Dear @TurnbullMalcolm , 1) Australia has a legal obligation to grant asylum to refugees, including those who come by boat. 2) Refugees who seek asylum require protection, not offshore dumping and indefinite detention. 3) Torture is never justified. This is all very basic.

I don’t care if you think homosexuality is a “choice.” But, I do care if you choose to be homophobic. My safety, rights, visibility, and identity as a gay person shouldn’t depend on whether you think I was “born this way” or not.

I’m always baffled when I meet law academics who insist law is “apolitical.” Law is made by politicians. Law solidifies political values and interests. Lawyers and judges give effect to those values and interests when interpreting the law. You don’t need a PhD to understand this.

You know what’s worse than being accused of racism? Having to endure actual racism. Like, you know, every single day. Just saying. #qanda

British colonialism sought to destroy sex and gender diversity. Some of the moral panics we see around the world today that result in the policing of sex and gender, particularly in relation to trans and intersex people, emerge from this dangerous legacy.
