Team work makes the dream work. This group of 3/4s continues to amaze me. Coming together to cheer on and run with a student who is participating in tomorrow’s Special Olympics. Good luck to all @selbyschool ⭐️s participating in tomorrow’s track and field events!

Today we used the kiddos' favourite headbands activity with sentences. Ss are working on reading the sentences and their partners are working on writing them down. They also practice explaining our spelling rules (like magic e) to their partners as hints when there are mistakes!

Today we used modeling clay to create 3-D shapes using the attributes we know about them each. We practiced making spheres, cubes, cylinders, cones, rectangular prisms and pyramids. Some were harder to make than others!

We came up with a list of names for our chicks yesterday, and today the chicks got to choose their own name! Say hello to Eleven (the egg number that hatched first!) Chocolate Chip and Fluffy! What are your names @MrHill_LDSB ?

Chick, duck, and goose hatching has allowed us to learn new vocabulary words like incubation, incubator, brooder (box), humidity, and candling. We were excited on Monday when our first 🐣arrived! Any suggestions for names @selbyschool @SelbyKinder?
