We had the team out checking the pitches and they can't understand why our three games are off.... Back next week - first CWFL home game, v Winsford Town FC and 45s in the Masters Cup against Hartford.

No Fixture for 35's. +45's draw at West Kirby Utd, having led 3-1. Shildhauer (2) and Parkinson with the goals. OA continue good form, picking up 3 points with a 2-4 win on the road to a feisty Kingfisher, who finished the game with 9. Clifton (2), Bradley & Roden with the goals.

Two fixtures this weekend (27/09), +40's away to Kirby United FC, Chris Long leading the team today. Open Age at Kirby Leisure for a 1:15 kick off against Kingfisher FC. No game for +35s, opposition couldn't field a team for Friendship Cup fixture. Get down & support the lads.

Good day for SVFC. +45s beat St Mary's at Marine FC, coming from behind to win 2-3, goals from McNally and Curran (2). Open Age starts their county cup campaign off well with a 2-6 win away to River FC, at Jeffrey Humble, goals from Stott, Hitchman, Roden and Cummins (2).

The mighty Yellows returned to action today as we made the long trek to @seftonvetsfc for a Friendship Cup game. A close game for an hour but the home sides class paid dividends in the end, as we succumbed to a 5-2 defeat. No more than the home team deserved โฝ๏ธ #MastersFootball

Three teams back in action - +35's on the back of a cup win last week, away to Woolton at Simpson Ground, 1.30pm. +45s host Ashton at Sandy Lane, 2pm and Open Age take on Old Xavs in the league season opener at Halewood Leisure, 2pm kick off also. Get down and watch the lads!

First game of the season and it's straight into the cup for Dave Stafford's +35 side - ground switch to Port Sunlight (Leverhulme Ground), due to overrunning ground works at Chesterfield High School. +45s without a fixture this weekend.
