We recently ended the year with a showcase of all of the work our Creative Students Produced. This includes Art, Photography and Film!. It was wonderful to see a year's hard work brought to life like this, thank you to everyone who came along to see it!✨

Today was New Starter Day for students joining us in September🥳. It was a busy day with taster sessions in all their subject choices for September, a scavenger hunt, a PDC session and an ice cream break at Lunch🍦. We hope you all had the best time. See you at enrolment!

Last week, our A-level Biology, Environmental Science and Geography students went on a trip in the sunshine to Ainsdale Nature Reserve to study ecological succession on the Sand Dunes!🏖️

Last week, our Environmental Science, Biology & Geography students visited the Lake District! 🏞️. They explored biodiversity, the effects off-trail trampling & glacial features at Easedale Tarn including mapping, analysing sediments & glacier movements 🌍

This week, our students went on a field trip to Liverpool City Centre to do some investigations🕵️

Recently, with @hughbaird & Thornton College, we adopted part of the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Our Sustainability Enhancement group visited it to take a walk and do a litter pick on the way. The students had a wonderful time making the most of the sunshine & beautiful scenery. ☀️🌷

Meet Yasmine, a Y12 student!. She took part in a 6-week study skills programme with the @LivUni 📚. When speaking to us about it, she said, “It really helped me understand things I was struggling with and improve my writing in a way that worked for me.”. Well done, Yasmine! 👏

This week we welcomed Holocaust survivor Harry Kessler, who shared his powerful story with our students. After a thoughtful Q&A, he left us with a lasting message - To be Kind and Tolerant to those we meet. ❤️

Last week we welcomed Year 10s from Hillside High School in for their Graduation from our Plus Sessions🥳. It was a lovely morning celebrating the success of the students. Well done to them all!

☕ Spotlight on: Enterprise Enhancement. Students gain hands-on business experience — from planning to sourcing and marketing. This year, they launched a hot drinks stand at events, researched local coffee shops and big brands, and explored how real coffee businesses operate!

Happy Earth Day!🌍. To celebrate, we're spotlighting our Environmental Science course. It explores Earth’s processes & the challenges we face. Students tackle local & global issues, finding solutions for a sustainable future. They also attend many exciting trips, see some below!
