All are welcome on the day and the more the merrier. It would be great to see Sefton well represented - especially from Ralph's friends and former teammates - at this tribute to a former club captain, Comp winner and one of the Sefton's greatest batsmen.

The Hightown Club will provide nibbles and there will be a little ‘unveiling’ and photo between innings or at the end of the game depending on when most people are there and when the change of innings falls.

Sefton are playing at @HightownStMarys tomorrow and plans are afoot to remember a great servant of both clubs - Ralph Osborne. Whilst the cricket is scheduled to start at noon, the plan for next Saturday is for people to arrive from around 2.30pm onward.

The 3XI exit the Mike Dunn T20 Cup with a four wicket defeat at @Liverpool_CC. The visitors closed on 99-8 (Paul Morris 39no), (Mohammed Owais 17 no). The hosts made the target off 15 overs.

Sefton U15 maintained their excellent league run with a win at @formbycricket last night. Dan Cuthbert (52 retired) and Muhammad Ibrahim (25) put on 61 for the first wicket before Ben Lester's 38* took Sefton to 152-5. Formby were then restricted to 101-6 in their innings.
