There's a clock ticking and we need to create the society (meaning both DAOs and government laws) which allows AI to most easily 'uplift' (a scifi term) humanity.
For 300k years: Intelligence was scarce. Humans monopolized thinking.Education created value.Cognitive labor commanded premium. In next 1k days: Intelligence becomes abundant. AGI thinks faster, cheaper, better.Human thought has negative value.Cognitive labor becomes liability.

For many years the steady, difficult march of science was accustomed to a forward thinking government. The path ahead for these now unfunded advancements and scientists should lead them to @BioProtocol.
