Been resting up all day, watching the first three series of Toast of London. The Bob Monkhouse / Royal Variety Performance episode in series 3 is one of my favourites - absolutely hilarious. I like the Bond audition one in series 1 a lot too. Good, ridiculous and bizarre fun.

One of my fave albums of the year is Rainy Sunday Afternoon by The Divine Comedy,so it was great to see some of it performed live at The Barbican on a fine Sunday evening,complete with a drinks trolley wheeled on stage mid-set,so Neil Hannon & band could enjoy beverages.
