South Carolina is growing, but transportation revenues are shrinking. The proof is in the pavement. A penny of the gas tax could pave 114 miles in 2018. That same penny won't go near as far today. Over the past year alone, the state lost two miles worth of buying power.

🚧SCDOT has officially broken ground on the I-95 Widening & Improvements Project in Jasper County, the largest project in our history. This work will widen lanes, upgrade interchanges and bridges, add a new Savannah River bridge, and reduce congestion to improve safety.
