Would also like to add that fanfic writers are not… influencers or the weird celebrityish (idk the perfect word to use here) feeling that has emerged around certain writers. We are all fans. We are all silly people writing silly stories about our silly favorite characters.

this might be an unpopular opinion but I actually Adore reading unfinished fics . I love seeing an author excited to get out their work in the notes and I love encouraging them and I love getting updates like it’s a little newspaper I look forward to every so often
