Here are self-contained Pytorch wheels that support the Strix Halo GPU (gfx1151) for Windows and Linux. It's been awesome working with @adyaman and @AnushElangovan's team on this for the past month. Expect the speed of improvement to increase.

AMD's new gpu software integration build system (TheRock) is pretty reasonable and I do like my 128GB Asus laptop with the Strix Halo chip but I still want more memory bandwidth for local LLMs.

This ThunderCore hardfork went pretty smoothly as expected. In fact, ThunderCore has a better track record of maintaining liveness and consistency than a lot of younger L1 and L2 chains :).
⚡️The #hardfork has completed at ⏰02:15:38 (UTC), September 6th at block 141853204 .✨. ⚠️ @ThunderCoreLab have identified that few #nodes are still lacking #consensus, indicating that they haven't been updated to r4.2.3. Please refer to for node updates.
