The Framework 16" and 13" with 7840{HS,U}, 7940{HS,U} (gfx1103) is supported, though not yet optimized, in our builds. The newer Framework 13" with the AI 300 series 340, 350 (gfx1150, gfx1152) still needs bring-up and are not yet supported.

Here are self-contained Pytorch wheels that support the Strix Halo GPU (gfx1151) for Windows and Linux. It's been awesome working with @adyaman and @AnushElangovan's team on this for the past month. Expect the speed of improvement to increase.

AMD's new gpu software integration build system (TheRock) is pretty reasonable and I do like my 128GB Asus laptop with the Strix Halo chip but I still want more memory bandwidth for local LLMs.

Lessons Learned:.• As a Chrome Extension it's still relatively easy to build.• It has accumulated more migrations than most backend projects' database.• The team tracked down a node out-of-heap problem and worked to to accept external contributions. (Thanks Howard Braham!).

Just landed my first patch in MetaMask fixing a wallet stuck in the "loader spinning" state problem. Turns out (I suspect a large part of) these aren't too hard to diagnose.

This ThunderCore hardfork went pretty smoothly as expected. In fact, ThunderCore has a better track record of maintaining liveness and consistency than a lot of younger L1 and L2 chains :).

Each time I open VIM, I see the message: "Vim is open source and freely distributable. Help poor children in Uganda!".Decades pass, but whenever I read an article commenting on the efficacy of global aid to Africa, I would associate this to the days when I learned to code . 2/3.

Bram Moolenaar of VIM fame has passed. I first learned of Moolenaar's name in the late 90s, as a highschooler in Taiwan. A friend said that VIM is an elegant editor to program computers in, so I learned to code with it. 1/3
