The best way to build a habit:. The 2 minute rule. Want to start running? Run for 2 minutes. Want to start reading? Read for 2 minutes. When you do something every day, even for 2 minutes, it becomes a habit. Then you can start doing it for longer.

How you feel is a direct result of your past 24 hours. If you feel like crap, do a 24-hr audit:.• What did you do?.• What did you eat?.• What did you watch?.• What did you listen to?.• Who did you talk to?. You might find some useful data.

Scrolling social media in the morning is AWFUL for the mind. But I understand it’s a hard habit to break. Here’s my solution:. Only check your weather app. Scroll the sh*t out of the weather until you’re ready to get up. Perfect replacement for a bad habit.

Later today, I read a tweet by @codyroyle talking about prominent people who are ‘untrained’ at their discipline. He mentioned tons of famous people. The 3rd person on the list was Sara Blakely - someone I had never heard of before last night. So what’s this all mean?.
