Initial reaction to this is that it’s an exciting move for Ben Doak. At Bournemouth he should play regularly in a team renowned for their intensity and fast breaks in attack under an elite coach in Iraola. A friendly face in Ryan Christie to help him on his way too. 🏴.
🚨🍒 Bournemouth are close to getting deal done for Ben Doak worth £25m package. Negotiations at advanced stages with Liverpool, as Guardian reports.

Had a feeling Steven Naismith would return to the Scotland fold after John Carver stood down. Pleased enough with this. A fresh face who has experience of playing for Scotland in the not too distant past and can hopefully provide some useful insight to our forward players. 🏴.
Steve Clarke has reinforced his backroom team ahead of our FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifiers ➕. Steven Naismith will return as assistant coach to replace John Carver and will be joined by Andrew Hughes, Leicester City’s set-piece coach, who will perform the same role for Scotland.

Ross McCrorie had an absolute blinder for Bristol City yesterday with a goal and an assist at Sheffield United. Easy to forget he was part of Scotland’s Euros squad last year. Definitely one to keep an eye on in the Championship. 🏴.
