Breaking: Notre Dame is withdrawing its name from consideration for a bowl game and will not play again this season. The decision comes after the Fighting Irish did not make the 12-team CFP.

Sadly, this is the first year at the commemoration ceremony at Pearl Harbor that no Pearl Harbor survivor has attended. We have lost so many over the past few years and as few as 12 remain living today. From one generation to the next. Remember Pearl Harbor. Remember those lost.

Notre Dame gets left out of the CFP… The Irish won 10 straight, were ranked ahead of Miami for weeks, and their only losses were Week 1 to No. 10 Miami and Week 2 to No. 7 Texas A&M by a combined four points. Ridiculous decision. One of the best teams in the country.

Made some progress on the room of shame. I moved some boxes into storage closet. I moved a book shelf and unpacked some books. It looks better. I've still got to figure out how to arrange the bed and one more book shelf. It feels good to make some space. 😌
