Retirement day!! Last day as a teacher/coach in Alabama. I am thankful for so many who have helped or impacted me during my career. Looking forward to the next adventure in Tennessee and being a dad!!

Great to see my sailor today!!! We have missed him, but we are so proud of him. Grateful to be able to spend the weekend with him.

From the “Why good coaches are quitting” file. We won out 5th straight game Friday, beating a good section opponent. Not a program builder, but a good win. Had an email at 4:36 AM the next morning from a mom complaining about her sons lack of playing time. Can’t make it up.

Bittersweet moment as my oldest leaves on Wednesday to join the Navy. Very proud of him, but he will be missed greatly. I love you bud!!

O-Linemen, O-Line Moms, and Coaches Wives are the best people in the world. You can't convince me otherwise.
