Oscar Wilde once wrote, "When the gods wish to punish us they answer our prayers." Also, Connecticut and San Diego State are in the same region in the NCAA tournament.

The Giants should block Nick Bosa. Analysis, that.

Opened my 10K account for 2023 this morning. I can’t say I’m exactly match fit, so 56:21 suits me just fine. Plus, I had a killer running soundtrack.

I have still have no idea if the Giants are a good team, but this season there has been a preponderance of plays, defensive stops, interceptions that good teams also do. So, I don't know... somebody knock on the jury room door for me.

I will never tire of the societal revolution that is seeing Giants receivers open in the secondary. I really thought that life was always going to be a sideline route and throwing into triple coverage.

The Giants are 5-1 and are mostly enjoyable to watch. I’m happy, but the radar is searching for other shoes.

I feel bad for Seattle fans; playoff baseball is a psychodrama.

I’ve never seen the Aurora Borealis or observed bioluminescence, but I was just at Penn Station to witness the Great Confluence of Comic Con attendees and Mets fans.

Guilty of targeting? The ref said “guilty?” “The tackle, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is guilty of a false start.”

As I was walking by, the guy leading the outdoor yoga in front of Brooklyn Museum asked the crowd “Are you ready to go on a journey with me?” I thought he said “..go to Germany…” Deutschland yoga alles!

The band also played "Radio Free Europe" that night. I think I jumped up so high I could see the Boston skyline. It was a lovely summer night, if memory serves.

Gyles Brandreth a few moments ago on the BBC mentioned something about Elizabeth II that for those of us who love history is astonishing-- her first prime minister, Winston Churchill was born in 1874, her last, Liz Truss, was born in 1975.

My jobs in the past four years have had me pay attention to markets more than I've ever had cause to. It perhaps explains why I think "Ebita Headwind" would be good nom de plume if I ever write about finance.

It's been a while since I've read it, but is there a chapter in "Moneyball" titled "Trade Everyone"?
