Today marked the start of our preparations for the 2026 season! Our senior squads both took part in the first of a series of yoga sessions, which are aimed at developing core strength, flexibility, and reducing the risk of injury. Huge thanks to Emma, our fantastic instructor!

Freddie has just reached a magnificent half-century against England U19s. He is currently 63 not out, sharing in an unbroken stand of 116 for the third wicket. An incredible effort.

Shrewsbury have won the toss and will bat first against King’s College Taunton in the final of the ECB U15 T20 competition. Win or lose, to reach this stage is a phenomenal achievement for a side including no fewer than 8 U14 players. We wish them the best of luck.

3 Old Salopians who left the school in the summer of 2024 made their debuts for the @shropshireccc side this summer. Will Jenkins, Josh McDonald and Ollie Parton all broke through into the National Counties outfit whilst still in the U19 age group - an incredible achievement.

Congratulations to King’s Taunton, who have deservedly beaten Shrewsbury and are crowned U15 T20 national champions. We are incredibly proud of the phenomenal level of development of our young players since their tour to Dubai in February, and throughout a magnificent season.

Well done Year 12’s Jacob, Harry and Tom for representing Glamorgan under Glamorgan 2nd XI this summer alongside their County Age group under 18 cricket. Jacob and Tom also represented South and West at the ECB under 18 super 4’s. Well done to boys for your efforts 🏏
