for pH mapping using deep learning were developed, and the feasibility of hyperpolarized imaging of metabolism and pH within a multimodal clinical PET/MRI protocol in feline tumor patients was demonstrated. #proudPI.

pHIn addition, a deeper insight into the metabolic plasticity of tumor cells and its effects on hyperpolarized 13C was gained. In vivo, a new pH probe and acquisition strategy for multiparametric hyperpolarized 13C in tumors and kidneys was presented. New analytical approaches.

His work improves various facets of hyperpolarized 13C-MRI, particularly for imaging metabolism and pH. In vitro pH dependencies of relaxation time constants of hyperpolarized probes were exploited to reveal new ways for probe preparation and acquisition strategies for imaging pH.

👉 In the QuE-MRT project, researchers, doctors, industrial partners and developers from the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry and engineering are working closely together to optimize the quantum hyperpolarizer. The team is also planning the first clinical studies in 2026.

@NVisionQuantum has presented the first product developed in the project - the preclinical quantum hyperpolarizer called “Polaris”, used in the research laboratories of the Department of Nuclear Medicine. Spectacular metabolic images were already taken in the first few days.
