Upper 30’s on June 1st! I’ll take it. Weather has been a challenge this spring but this makes up for some of it. 24 hours before “golf’s longest day” begins with 82 players trying to qualify for our National Championship. Huge thanks to my turf team.

After a 3 1/2 day trip of multiple canceled and delayed fights, missed connections and an unexpected overnight at JFK, Ryan has finally arrived in Shannon Ireland for the summer. He will be doing an internship at Adare Manor,home of the 2027 Ryder Cup. Proud of you @Ryan__Dorrell

Huge effort by the very limited turf team this week. Greens and approaches aerified 2x, 90 tons of clean top-dressing down, fwys cleaned off and mowed 2x, and 1 of the range tees aerified and top-dressed. Great weather matched by great teamwork! Let it rain this weekend!

Final mow and spray on greens this morning. Pleased with the rebound in health of what you can and can’t see on putting surfaces following a very difficult year. Here’s hoping 2025 is a little kinder than 2024 was weather wise. Happy Holidays!

Greens don’t have a ton of pace as we are pushing for root recovery from 2024 and building towards 25. But the color is fantastic! It also allows us to use some new hole locations. Full rake on bunkers, fresh cups, 65° and sunny. Great day for a Friday round of golf in November!
