Next SOUTH BEDS CAMRA social is an AMPTHILL Tour on SAT 8TH NOV. Start ENGINE & TENDER 12:30 and moving on to ALBION, OLD SUN, WINGFIELD CLUB, QUEENS HEAD and PRINCE OF WALES. Possibly other non-cask pubs/bars too. It should be a great afternoon. Non-members always welcome.

Beer festival on this weekend in the South Beds area at the Royal Oak, Aspley Heath. Rebellion, Towcester Mill and Oakham beers sound good to us 🍻

Excellent turnout in Harlington for our CAMRA social and good to meet new friends and locals Teresa, Glen and Ian. We started at the Old Sun before moving on to the Carpenters Arms. Two great pubs, 10 beers and good company. A great afternoon thoroughly enjoyed by all 🍻

Here’s South Beds CAMRA Chair Gordon Beech presenting our 2025 Pub of the Year certificate to Maz and her team at the Bricklayers Arms, Luton this afternoon. We all had a great time drinking beers in the spring sunshine which coincided with their Spring Beer & Cider Festival🍻

The presentation of the South Beds CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025 certificate to Maz at the Bricklayers Arms will take place at the Brickies @ 3pm on Friday April 11th. As this coincides with their beer festival surely that’s 2 good reasons to try and get there?

This Saturday (14th Dec) it’s the South Beds CAMRA Xmas social in Dunstable. The official published timings are: Victoria (1pm); Sugar Loaf (2:30pm); Globe (4pm) Note: We may add a visit to the Gary Cooper at 2pm and may not arrive at the Sugar Loaf until 3pm.

After the success of our first Xmas social in Luton last week, we’re heading for Linslade/Leighton Buzzard this Saturday (7th Dec). Should you wish to join in the fun the approximate timings are: Buckingham Arms (1pm) White Horse (2pm) Black Lion (3pm) Bald Buzzard (4:30pm)

The first of our Xmas Socials will be in Luton this Sat (30th Nov). Approx timings are: Globe, Union St (1pm) Black Horse, Hastings St (2pm) Great Northern, Bute St (3pm) And our POTY Bricklayers Arms, High Town Road (4pm). Please let us know if you’re intending to join us.
