The VCG has now extended voluntary severance to multiple other courses - all faculties are now affected, except for Health and Life Sciences. The new courses selected for voluntary severance include Education, Fine Arts, and Built Environment, along with several others.

Yep. That might have been a great idea.

"As regards research, the overall ranking will stand even if.staff leave, and will not be reassessed until 2028." (Quote from a letter to students). So they're using the ranking current staff have earned as a cover up for appalling mismanagement whilst sacking those same staff.
