NEW MEXICO STATE CHAMPS! I'm so proud of Natalie and her Eastdale All-Star team for going 7-0 to win the district and state minor softball state championships. Natalie worked so hard to participate in this and it showed! Slugged 0.462 and scored 9 runs. Go Eastdale!

Clearly my new favorite beer name. Was quite tasty too!

This paper is the result of another great LDRD-funded collaboration between @SandiaLabs and @PurdueME @ParthaPMukherj1.

We combine this uncertainty with the intrinsic heterogeneity of a coated electrode to assess overall impacts to cell performance.

In our new paper ( free for a few weeks) in a special issue of Energy Storage Materials focused on machine learning, we employ multiple traditional computer vision and machine learning techniques to assess this uncertainty for graphite electrodes.

3D image-based simulations of battery electrodes have shown immense utility in providing insight into the reality of as-manufactured cells. However, transforming 3D images into computable meshes is an inherently uncertain process.

Happy to have the opportunity to present a keynote at @TMSSociety 2024 on our coupled battery modeling at @SandiaLabs. While I know I missed seeing many of you with my short trip, it was great to catch up with @Amystery91 @MeganButala @AnkitVerma6491 and others!
