It is near impossible to recreate Gordon Lightfoot's Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald. @BillyStrings does an admirable job and stays mainly true to the Lightfoot vision of the music and, more importantly, story.

I was the product of direct instruction in my education. The more I study education, the more I see the impact of progressive and critical theory-Giroux and McLaren, i believe we have become less effective educators. I see classical education movements as a response by parents.

This is an important read for Catholics. especially those engaged in education and formation Catholic teachers and youth. Dr. Salkeld @BrettSalkeld articulated the Catholic teaching on evolution and Genesis clearly and thoroughly.
But, even if Trent’s decree was interested in scientific matters and even if the Fathers of the Church actually were unanimous on the question, the creationist case would still face great difficulty. --Brett Salkeld.

Renewing our baptismal vows at mass today and when asked "Do you believe in Jesus Christ?" a young boy behind me yelled, "I do!" loudly. Some people snickered and his dad reprimanded him. I didn't know what to do then thought, "Why are we not all yelling that loudly - always?".
