Our goal is to use this workshop as a platform to find and nurture the next generation of AI planning researchers. Participants will also have the opportunity to pitch their research ideas, receive valuable feedback, and even identify potential mentors and future grad schools.

The workshop is designed to provide motivated students with an opportunity to interact with leading researchers in AI planning and engage with cutting-edge research. It will also include numerous mentorship activities and talks from leading planning researchers.

[3/4].Recently, @Turgay74900524, Zahra Zahedi, and I looked at how we could extend model reconciliation to make it more actionable. Turguy will be presenting the results from our work at #hri2025. You can catch his talk at .Goldfields Theatre.Thur 11:28 AM - 11:38 AM.

[2/4].This aligns with the notion of actionability of explanations. While the idea of actionable explanations has been widely studied in single-shot decision-making settings, like classification, they are less well understood in the context of sequential decision-making.

[1/4].Explanations of AI decisions shouldn't be ends in themselves but means to achieve more effective human-AI collaboration. One potential way explanations could help is by informing the user how they could influence the agent to generate the behavior they expected.
